this is mt fav song ever since i heard on the radio that same day i downloaded it to my itouch and learned to play it on guitar. i think this song is about something terrible someone did to you of made you experieance ( for me its going to afganistan for 3 years fighting the war.... and some other bad thing that haave happened) what they did to you changed you into something you never wanted to be a jaded creature of hate youve changed so much you look into the mirror and dont even recongnize yourself anymore you hate what youve become and you dispise the people who did this to you you become so jaded that you can feel anything any more nothing but rage and you hate it you just dont care anymore but you miss being able to care to feel to love you feel for you loved ones knowing they have to deal with the new you no matter how much they try to talk to you about it you refuse because you know none of them will ever understand and most of the shit that happened to you you dont wont to know to know the hell you went through knowing would hurt them more then this monster could ever do so you just fake a smile and tell them it all okay when it not youve become the monster "they" made you and you wish you could go back to how things used to be but you can never go back its been to long the old you is dead eventaully you learn to live with this hate monster and accept it as the knew you not because youve grown to like it but because it all you have |
