He explained on one a YouTube video, He and his ex girlfriend were kinda on a bike ride, and they found a chicken with its leg broken on the road. The girlfriend was studying to be a vet and wanted to look after it, but Ed didn't really... Care he just wanted some "tea and a sleep". They took it back home and Ed went to have a sleep while the girlfriend checked out the chicken. But when he woke up, the chicken had died. He felt really bad so he wrote a song for the chicken and his ex :) |
