Wog language? What? Are you afraid of a little coffee in your cream? What a buffoon. This person was clearly just pointing out what a pretentious comment you made. Do you realize that people have been spouting that same tired, nostalgia-based story to critique the opinions of others since we started grunting at one another? God, you're so far out of reach because you listen to Blind Willie McTell! Give me a break. You forget that this song came out 40+ years after the old blues greats played the songs you're referring to. (Some of which are favorites of mine too, I might add. So I don't blame you for loving them.) Are you going to dismiss the blues interpretations of Jimi Hendrix, B.B. King, and Eric Clapton too? That's just it! They're interpretations! Music evolves over time. So do people. You should try it. |
