He makes no mentioned of god in this song. Although he does mention the devil and an angel on his shoulders, that is a common expression for the greater evil and the greater good. He wants to become a better person and stay on the correct path for the sake of being a better person. Just because someone wants to improve their life and the way the live it, does not mean that they are motivated by god. Perfectly good people do not have god in their lives, and like I said, they are perfectly good people. |
