This song is about a guy that thinks he's God's gift to man. Unweeningly proud, like a sociopath. Devoid. He goes through life running on fumes, getting by (high) with the fruit of other people's labors. He is morally bankrupt, and he couldn't care less about any of the people he uses. It's all about him. He talks all high and mighty about himself, exalting himself, inviting himself to anything great... But he has nothing to show for it. He does nothing to demand any respect, yet he still thinks he's the greatest. I knew a guy like this. They don't care about you at all, but they want the hat right off your head so they can sell it to buy some drugs, or whatever. |
