| this whole album (underneath the concept) is about an emotionally abusive relationship Peter was in. this track kind of seems like the relationship coming to an end. he's finally unstuck from an awful situation and is reflecting on it all. as someone who knows the feeling all too well, the "don't ever let anyone tell you you deserve that" line is pretty heart wrenching. | |
