| Ace Troubleshooter – Have It All Lyrics

this song is just amazing. my favorite line: "though it's brazen and defiant, please be born in my heart." wow. to me this song is about always feeling the need to be better than the next guy, being too worldly (you know, being "born in the inn"). we all have weaknesses, and for some of us it's following what the rest of the world is doing instead of doing what we should. we need to be brought to our knees, like the little drummer boy who played for Jesus. he used the small talent that he had and did all that he could with it.
i really like ace troubleshooter. songs like this are the reason why. |

Yeah, I agree. They realize that God has blessed them with the talent that they have and that they've been given a wonderful outlet through which they can witness about God to other people. They want people to see God in what they do, and to be blessed by what they are doing, instead of just having a good time and listening to some music. They want you to get something out of it. |

Well, it's kinda supposed to be serious. I mean, all of this stuff could really happen...drive too fast and hit a tree and you'll end up getting staples in your skin to hold it together. The message is also serious, but it's not necessarily "don't be stupid", it's more like "be careful because people care about you, but if something does happen and you die, then you'd better make sure that you know where you're going." |

The fact that Relient K makes direct references to Jesus or God in many of their songs (like Softer To Me, Less Is More, The Rest Is Up To You), and have made no attempt to hide the faith in God that they all have, leads me to believe that this song IS about Jesus and the great love between the writer of this song and his Savior. Also, I've felt this same way about God, and could tell by the first listen that this song is about God and His never-ending, unconditional, saving love. |

I don't really think that Christian music, whether it be gospel or rock or pop or punk or rap, is about trying to shove beliefs down someone's throat. These guys sing about what they live for (which is God), just like many bands sing about their personal experiences and their lives. Christian music gives believers a great way to worship and praise God, either by writing music and forming their own Christian band or by just singing along and supporting their favorite band. Christian music that is a bit more contemporary and alternative (like Delirious)create a great way to reach out to the young people in churches, which is a great thing.
Many bands sing about love. That seems fairly natural, since love is such a huge part of human life. Even many punk bands sing about love. Relient K is no different. They sing about love too, only the love that they're singing about is a love of their Savior, Jesus Christ.
Even if no one listened to Relient K's music, and no one bought their music, I think that they would still have a band and play music, just by themselves, in their garage, for the glory and praise of God. |
