I love watching them perform this song on YouTube. I especially noticed Garfunkel's connection with his audience. My feeling is: You've spent a lifetime in your "idyllic" little town. You've just completed 12 or more years of "education", yet, who ARE you? You've experienced very little. The intoxication of freedom makes even the most ordinary scenery bright and new and defining. |
