| This song doesn't sound bitter to me. I think the singer really misses her summer romance and so to make herself feel better, she is trying to convince herself that he is miserable without her. I don't think that she is harboring ill feelings for her summer fling. I think it's a song of longing, not hurting. At least, that's what I feel when I hear it. | |
