This song is so sick. It's cleverer than just drug pushers talking about what they do, it's also looking at all the rappers, Little Wayne et.al, who talk about dealing drugs who probably have never been near a drug deal. You can't talk about dealing, that's the whole fucking point. So there's two jokes, on the one hand it's like, why would you be stupid enough to take part in a clearly illegal activity, and then NOT ONLY admit to it, but to boast about it on the most public forum you could? You may as well get your own documentary crew and film yourself for the police. The second point is more subtle, but it's aimed at the people who boast about drugs in all of their songs, over and over again because they need to sell themselves as rough or street as members of the Game. So he's mocking them too and calling their bluff, showing how stupid their claims would be if they were actually involved in any of these things. |
