I think this song is clearly not about vikings. With this song they critize society. (sorry for my bad english) "Stop, punch in the clock, punch it with all of your rage put the men in the office for a minimum wage" People nowadays have jobs they don't like, to get money they dont need. The Company's, the Governments, the Banks rob the people. Many parts are similar to this. Now, the time is now, we can still turn it around Raise your voice like a weapon 'till they fall to the ground Light, let there be light, without a shadow of doubt We will fight tooth and nail until salvation is found. Here they also speak about an revolution. We should fight for a better World. "Open your eyes and the empire falls" People need to know whats really going on right now. They should awake from their dream of the "perfect world" and fight the empire until it falls. But I have no idea why they called the Song "Viking Death March". I also don't get the chourous. |
