| Red Hot Chili Peppers – Snow (Hey Oh) Lyrics | 12 years ago |

In Anthony Kiedis's autobiography- 'Scar Tissue'- he talks about his drug habits. Particularly 'China White Heroin' Simple as, the 'Snow' he's referring to is Heroin. The guy who got 10 plus votes by using big words is talking rubbish. Half of you didn't even read the comment, you just got impressed by the fancy vocabulary. He did mention that their problems get 'covered with snow' though, and he has a point about that. They used to bury their problems under mountains of drugs, specifically John and Anthony, who had their problems with heroin. |

Grow up, that's bullshit. How about you change the word battery to your own name and pretend that Metallica wrote it about how awesome and powerful you are. Works the same. |

| Lamb of God – Set to Fail Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| Yeah... I totally feel like Randy Blythe (vocalist of LOG) is shouting at me here because this song describes me totally! Taking great measure to appear that I don't care that I'm failing everything I do, pretending it doesn't matter and making excuses (weaving a tale of woe). Setting myself up to fail by not giving problems the attention they deserve | |
| InMe – Pantheon Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
A few religious references I feel... "I did not want to hurt you. So I hurt myself instead" Like Jesus dying for the sins and all that (don't believe that stuff myself) "The journeyman bleeds hope & they're listening. These words stood the test of time. Painted in the sky" All fairly obvious, including the title being 'Pantheon'. I don't think it's a song about religion itself, more about how people should embrace whatever religion they hold, but "take control of their own lives." I'm not expressing my opinion well here, but if anyone understands what I'm rambling about, let me know if you agree or disagree haha |

| Avenged Sevenfold – So Far Away Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| He originally wrote it about his grandfather, and they had a demo done while Jimmy was still alive. I'm pretty sure that I heard Syn say something about getting drunk with The Rev and crying listening to the demo version of this song. When The Rev died, it became about him, with some slightly different lyrics, and Syn said that it was amazing that Jimmy was able to hear his own tribute song, and like the song so much. It's like people always say with tributes- "He/she would be proud if they could see this now", well he was proud, we know this :) | |
| Avenged Sevenfold – Nightmare Lyrics | 13 years ago |

No fuck you HisSweetMistake. He was NOT some drug addict who overdosed or some shit. He was on prescription medication for a rare condition that meant he had an enlarged heart. He was at a wedding that day and got drunk, got home, and forgot that he'd already taken his meds that day and the overdose combined with being very drunk caused a major heart attack. Another name for a deadly combo of drugs and alcohol is called a "brompton cocktail", so make of that what you will. Some people say that it was suicide because of this. I just think it was an accidental thing. But you can't go around thinking he was some drugged up rock star, he wasn't, it was either an accidental overdose or suicide, with PRESCRIPTION medication, not cocaine. |
