I personally view this song as a song about trust, whether it be trusting God or a guy/girl with your heart. Ya know, in the beginning he starts off with talking about broken trust and the things he has heard that happen when you let go. He says nothing's ever real, like he's been tricked, he's been through heartbreak, and now he's cautious. At the end, he trusts, he lets go. |
