For me personally, I related this song to personal grief I was going through alone. I love the line "Those mornings spent sitting alone mourning alone in grief". Wow, they just nailed it. |

The lyrics, "I'm a drunk with a job, I got pictures to prove it", really hit home with me personally. I got my first professional job as a teacher when I was 22, while I was still partying heavily. It was crazy to me at the time because I was so responsible, and irresponible at the same time. At some point they took pictures of me teaching so I literally was a drunk (via facebook pictures), with a job (and I had pictures to prove it). |
