| John Mayer – Walt Grace's Submarine Test, January 1967 Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
Walt lives. He went on to do what everyone said he couldn't. The line "and the sky was a flare, when he came up for air..." proves (pretty blatently) that he didnt sink to the bottom and die. Also his wife got a call from him in Tokyo (even though she was expecting to hear he was found dead). Now his friends smile when they can while talking about him because he proved them all wrong and they probably feel a bit dissatisfied with their own lives. Or at least that what I got from the song... I guess he could have went on and died later in life, but not from his submarine ride... |
