It is indeed about Amsterdam, Netherlands - at least according the press release accompanying the single.
Milky Way - in dutch 'de Melkweg' - is a venue in Amsterdam, I think it still exists. The band members used to go there often. Rest is just a poetic buildup. Great song! |
