Now, I could totally be wrong, which I most likely am. But what I got out of this was she doesn't want her best friend to leave her alone. Not a guy lover best friend, but the best friend that she's had since she was young. You say that you're leaving That your hands are only dust And the boy loves you Oh, he loves you so much ^Her best friend is in love, and is going to leave to be with him, while the narrator of this song is left alone. Again, I may be wrong.. :) |
