| Pretty spot on. I think it's about someone being more emotionally invested in love more then the other person, hence the part about "waiting the hours" as in waiting forever for that person to feel the same way and "climb up to the tower" as in making it obvious to the other person that the love for him/her is there. The "frightened eyes" is the narrator's reaction to the possibility of that love not being reciprocated. | |
