Pezable I think you got it right. I will adhere here the fact of betrayal coming from that one person you love and it's supposed to stay true and be by your side in good and bad moments, that's what I would call true love. But the singer in the song gets backstabbed by the one he trusted most and realizes how alone he is in the world and how cold it is. For me it's a positive song though, basically it says you still have yourself and it's the only thing you need to live and go on, maybe with melancholy and despondency, but still going on. I just have to say Insomnium is my favourite band and helped me get through really bad times in my life, this band has something special for sure... |
