| How is the "you don't create" line a lame argument? I think it takes a lot more guts to write and preform music today than it does to wait around for the newest releases to bitch about for a living. Also, if the song seems cartoonishly spiteful or simplistic, I think the last line ("In your signature style, we compose this review of you") implies it was written that way intentionally. Besides, a song doesn't have to be a sound argument. I think this song effectively expresses some raw, sincere emotion better than it makes an argument against music critics. | |
