@[AlairaKasimer:2528] sorry, clearly I wasn't paying attention haha... I stupidly assumed the comments were in most recent order - I didn't look at the date, sorry just ignore me above ;)
I couldn't work out how to edit my comment, guessing I can't.
Wow, completely forgot about making that other comment.

@[AlairaKasimer:2527] Awesome comment! I feel like there's no need to read any further (though I probably still will ;) )

although... RE: Boa the singer vs the group...

I own the following CDs from BoA the group:

* Duvet single (track 1 - Duvet, track 2 - Deeply)
* Race of A Thousand Camels album - 11 tracks, track 3 is Duvet (Lain Opening Song) which is the same shorter version as in the series intro.
* Tall Snake EP - 5 tracks, 3 of which are different versions of Duvet (original, Cyberia Mix by DJ Waseri, and Acoustic)
* Twilight album - 14 tracks, including the original and acoustic versions of Duvet.

all worth tracking down ;)

For everyone that still thinks this is the Korean BoA - it's most definitely not...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B%C3%B4a

It's also mentioned here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_Experiments_Lain
"The series' opening theme, "Duvet", was written and performed in English by the British rock band Bôa."

I have the Duvet (single), the Tall Snake (EP), The Race of a Thousand Camels (album), and the Twilight (album) which also contains the acoustic version... they are from the UK.

I also have both Lain soundtracks the original Serial Experiments Lain Soundtrack & the Cyberia Mix ;) Yeah, I love the series... which put me onto the music - though not enough to pay the ridiculous price they want for the Blu ray version - though I'm tempted ;)

It took me so long to find the albums because I too initially thought they were the Korean BoA - and trying to search online for Boa back when I was after these songs was nearly as difficult as searching for "The The" ;) It seems there's more info online now about them than there was a few years ago.

I also really like their songs "Scoring" and "Deeply" - though if you can get the Twilight album, there's no need for Thousand Camels, as Twilight has the same songs plus a few more (probably near impossible to find a the Thousand Camels album now anyway ;) )
