A Pyramid scheme is kind of like a Con-company that cons you out of money, you have to get other people into your company and you supposedly receive money if you do "Falling strangers calling your name" this might be because of the strangers that you conned calling out for you "You keep me subdued with painted tongues" I think it means you keep me repressed with your lies, because he himself is being conned and conning others into the pyramid scheme without realizing it. Then I think it kind of gets into like I won't let you do this to me and I won't be your companion in this sherade, I will fight. He'll grind our bones to make his bread, I think thats saying, he will destroy us (the top con-artist) and use us to live (bread being food/items to live) "I'd rather be a man in the skin of a beast Than be a beast in the skin of a man" Like how a con-artist is a beast with a skin of a man, like a devil wearing a mask "We ain't got nothing because nothing's clean We ain't got nothing because nothing's free" The corporation is a scam and the people in it don't get anything because nothing comes from nothing and you can't get anything from that kind of place ok, I'm not really good at expressing myself, but thats kind of how I see it, sorry if it doesnt make sense |
