| i think this song is about how an atheist / non believer has spent their time through all life avoiding and dismissing any belief of afterlife, god, and the time has come where they are going to die - but afraid because they don't know what to be or do if there is nothing to see beyond the grave. that's why they'd rather die in flames to ensure they can't see anything or feel anything, and why they run in fear to hide from the inevitable (live a ghost, if such thing can exist). basically non believers of god experiencing their time is up and it finally hits them that they hope to see or experience something after death, instead of just being dead and forgotten. the music video for this also is pretty much images from graveyards, there was no war or guns, or explosions. | |

joe164 said it. except it is not a conspiracy. it is a fact, that many people wish to deny and dismiss. those towers were demolished. they did not fall down freely from any planes. this was not a terrorist attack, this was murder in cold blood on a massive scale. (Our fate lies in the hands of men Their lies, our fate, our lives, the grave) in the eyes of the agency or government that did it, it was just collateral damage. 3000 or so people HAD to die in a seemingly terrorist attack to allow for enough excuse to invade Afghanistan and soon after Iraq. (you will believe this blood sacrifice, life was the price for change). and finally how flawed the story and cover up and blame towards al quaeda was terribly managed, and the lies can be seen easily by those with half a brain (our blood forever stained on the streets, blood can't be washed away) |

i think it' all about betrayal of society around us. a lot of people can happily go through so much bs in life and still be ok with it all. but maybe someone such as the "man" in the song just cant take the narrowminded-ness and bs of life anymore because he realises it is all a bunch of lies, ways to make money, no one really cares about anything and he thought it was all a good world when it really isnt... you as a listener must have at some point in life felt so mad that you daydream of going on a killing spree against the people in the world you hate the most, smashing their face in, destroying them over and over and feeling extremely powerful crushing everything... this is pretty much the song. a man gone absolutely insane, mega pissed off, and wants to burn everything. |

sorry but you are so wrong. in the times of richard the lionheart (yes... England) we had what you might of heard called "the crusades". crusader soldiers all brainwashed into loving and believing Christianity stomped across europe and the middle east trying to kill literally everyone who was not christian. just because in 2012 all the muslims are killing everyone does not mean the christians havent done the same thing. and yes, if you are REALLLLY truly religious then you like a lot of muslim fanatics wont accept another religion or god - the one who you believe in is the ONLY ONE. therefore you wish or want to kill everyone else since they are evil in your mind. if you are like i assume, just a bog standard believer of the lord living your daily life not really giving a crap about other religions, never going to church on sundays, never following the orthodox easter the way it is supposed to be celebrated, and you still claim your belief and following of christianity for example... then you are a completely useless arrogant dumbass. I hate all religious people who call themselves believers when they dont even follow their own belief properly like all muslims do. hats. you are unfortunately so brainwashed, and a prime example of the reason why this human race is on a road to nowhere. if i was the leader of the race... i would exile you. |

in summary the song is stating that there are millions of people in the world who blindly follow religions when the fact remains that we all do not know anything about where we came from, why we are here, and to be honest we probably never will. it's out of our control, we do not dictate our purpose here in life... therefore we all lie about there being a god and a heaven... yet when we blasphemy, and commit all the sins he supposedly stated will judge us all into hell... nothing does ever happen, we just live on and when our time comes we hit the ground and thats it. any religious followers want to comment on that by calling me an athiest pig, flame at me and call me an ignorant idiot... you are the ones who are plain ignorant in believing a book thats a thousand years old, and well... i guess you can all burn in hell, if there was one. :) |
