| No, it's a real thing, by freud. It sounds pretty messed up, but it's very real. But is the song not pretty messed up? It's awesome, but it's very, VERY far from regular. Jim Morrison acknowledged that this was the meaning of those particular lyrics, although not the whole song. And he also said he doesn't suffer from the complex, but rather it just fitted. For me, it's about that cocktail of emotions felt when you see someone that you have fallen in love with, every day, and you are not sure whether they love you back. 'I'm practising your name so I, can tell it, to your face' She's not even sure at this point if he is aware of her existence, because it seems like she has never spoken to him about her feelings before. 'Let all the things you mean to me, come tumbling out my mouth' This is her confessing her secret love for someone. Can they really appreciate how much she loves them? I kissed an ex to this for the first time at a party. I'd admired her for a while, and we were quite good friends. We were dancing and getting close, and then when the first chorus hit, we were just all over each other. I have some fantastic memories of this song. |

| In the kanye west version caledd 'Lost In The World', I t does say I'm lost in The World, I'm down on my life. But that is a different song, and he has autotuned it and corrected it to say that. This is the original. They are both fantastic songs, about very different feelings, but barely different melodies and lyrics. I love almost all forms of music. And Bon Iver and Kanye are two of my favourite artists. | |

| In my family, we are lucky enough to live directly infront of a stretch of woods, which out patio leads straight into. I remember, one morning, when I was awake at about 6:00 am (couldn't sleep, just split with my girlfriend). The house was totally empty. I'd opened all of the blinds downstairs, and white, autumn morning sunlight flooded in. Everything was completely still, until a hummingbird just hovered infron of the window for around about a minute. It sang and seemed to be comforting me. When it flew away, I walked out into the wood, bare feet, to try and find it again. And then suddenly it hit me. The beauty all around us everyday. I just lay outside on the bark and moss, with the sparks of light from the gaps between the leaves. I lay there for around two hours, and it was absoloutely breathtaking. At that point a royal mail man turned up and probably thought I was crazy haha. But I tried to recreate the morning every day that next week, but I could never quite capture the stillness, and the beauty of doing nothing, in a place where the only sound was birds, and there was no wind, and nothing to indicate anything at all was happening, other than just living. And that, is what this song is about. | |

In retrospect, I don't think it was ever about who was better, and in respect for these two great artists, we should stop arguing who was. I think it was just about telling stories that needed to be told. I don't feel you have to support just Pac or just biggie. You can enjoy them both. I certainly do. And it's not fair to say that pac didn't reach out emotionally like biggie did. Just read one of his poems, or listen to most of the songs on Me Against the World. That intro sends chills down my spine! This is definitely my favourite biggie song. He was enterring unknown territory with this on. He definitely had no trouble telling it how it is, and keeping it real! |
