It's definitely just you. To say such lyrical genius is nonsense is to be completely ignorant of the underlying meaning of the words. You clearly haven't read Plato's allegory of the cave, or you would be able to comprehend the complexities of this brilliance. I would recommend that you stick to songs with simpler lyrics like One Direction, Justin Beiber or Carly Rae Jepson. Their lyrics can be taken at face value, and are much easier for uniformed minds to grasp. |
