OK, 'Sarah' is not her real name. She uses it in her line of work. Her new best friend is someone new she works with. Probably on street corners. The narrator is her stalker. She's not 'shy' but does have very low self esteem. The 'razors in your heart' refers to her lack of ability to care for anyone, even herself. 'Sarah' is loaded on drugs in a dangerous job. She has mental traumas from ( 'a long time ago' ) her entire life. She's working to pay for her addiction in an endless cycle. Not knowing if she should end it with an overdose or if the next client will kill her. |

What have we done to the world? Look what we've done - Take responsibility for the outcomes our own consumerist behaviour. What about all the peace That you pledge your only son? - Religion abdicates responsibility to someone else. The video clearly demonstrates how Abrahamic religion has failed. Nothing but war and destruction of the Earth. The maker of the video was appealing to religious Americans in particular who think god will rescue them. Why would any god want to rescue lazy, fat, ignorant, entitled Americans who don't care about anyone but themselves? |

Every stone that's been placed in The Empire of Ancient grounds One day they'll fall - you'll say goodbye It seems to be about popular revolution: a large group with a shared goal for social change. This song is saying to make it happen in your life time not to wait for gradual change. |
