I dont think it's about a girl being raped. I sounds to me like a girl/boy who was bullied. 'such heroes, throwing stones at the one who is standing alone' 'they just tend to stand out of the rain, thinking but not acting' She is the underdog at school or something, and everyone ignores the bullying, afraid to be bullied too. I was bullied too in my youth, and I did overcome it. It feels like this songs is about me. It's either you'll overcome it and becoming a stronger person, or you will be weak for years if you don't fight it. That's how I see it. |
