As much as you think they didn't, they actually stayed pretty loyal to the original. I'm probably going to get a lot of shit for saying this, but I actually enjoy this version of the song. Of course not as much as The Who's version, but The Who sets the bar pretty high. I admit, the L.I.M.P. crap in the middle ticks me off a bit, and it seems a shame that the end was replaced with whatever it is that is playing at the end of the song. But the last two verses that were added in the song, (I'm excluding everything past 'in the clouds') are pretty great. They are the only reason I actually tolerate the other crap in the song. |
