I tend to interpret "The weaker must die" as the protagonist taking an extreme view of religion and religious people in general, reffering to natural selection and judging everyone who needs to "dwell in a lie" i.e. religion to be weak and thus deserving of death. As for "sweet is the pride that reflects in your eyes" i believe that refers to religious people, maybe more specifically priests, whos eyes shine with the light of religious fervor "As we head towards eternal, for the better for this time", as we head in to the future Here I believe he growls "we let go of these boundaries" instead of bound aries, which is obvious in its meaning i.e. religion confines us and we cannot advance as a race with it draggin us down. "for the last time I repent", a nod towards religion and its nessecity in mankinds infancy, but also firmy setting it behind as we head towards the future. |
