I dreamt about you last night and I fell out of bed twice - Either he likes who he's thinking of or he's horrified by her
You can pin and mount me like a butterfly - she can admire him like a butterfly in a collection, or she can have sex with him the way butterflies do |

But take me to the haven of your bed was something that you never said means the person Morrissey's character speaks to never wanted to have sex with him, or it could mean the exact opposite, that the other person did want sex with Morrissey's character just in an unromantic way. two lumps please is ambiguous meaning he wants two sugars, or the womans breasts. you're the bees knees but so am i, I haven't a clue about. |

I think when it comes to "of how you took a child and you made him old" it's not quite that innocent. By to make someone old I believe Morrissey means to make the boy a man, for him to have sex for the first time. It links in with "15 minutes". |

Not meaning to sound like some Morrissey conspirator but it's about gay sex. You have killed me refers to orgasm. Well it's a better name than "You made me jizz" isn't it? It's just like "(I just) died in your arms" by Cutting Crew. I remember reading on that single's wikipedia page that the song is about "Le Petit Mort" - The Little Death - a metaphor for Orgasm.
Once I theorised the title's meaning "I Entered nothing and nothing entered me, until you came with the key" becomes obvious. As immature as it sounds it means he - how do i be polite - inserted himself into no-one, no-one inserted themselves into him, until his Italian lover came around. I won't say what the key is, it's obvious by now anyway. |
