This song is very deep and has a powerful message behind it. Woman abuse is a serious thing and this illustrates the impact it has on a child, a mother, and the family in entirety. When I listen to this I can feel the passion behind the words and it speaks loud and clear when it says "Let me be the last to say, please don't stay." It's a sad story full of turmoil and the struggle behind just standing up. This should be inspiration to all to put the foot down and stand strong as the person you are, no one deserves 'tough love'. |

This song is very deep and has a lot of meaning behind it, the lyrics speak very in depth into the emotions that come from a relationship like this. As it can be seen many people can relate to this song, as can I. In my eyes I am currently going through this same thing/feelings. It's a tough situation where the girl who you loved most leaves you suddenly, although it may be expected, and then can't be without you as a friend probably because she can't admit to herself how she feels/what she's done. When I read these lyrics I replace the name with my ex as almost every single line I can relate to. This is an amazing song and can really speak to a lot of people first hand! |
