This song is so brilliant ever since Tom Gabel (Laura Jane) comes out as a transsexual. It's funny reading up on the comments before the reveal on how this made people scratch their heads on the meaning of this song but it's so clear now. Love this song, the lyrics are powerful and amazing. Absolutely brave. |

This song is so insane and psychotic that's its good! Lyrically, it a psychotic/murderous relationship that turns into some supernatural thingy. Like a Tim Burton movie and creativity! In my head, I can see flashes of The Night Before Christmas. Musically, it's all over the place but it works! It's like a circus show that balances with a melodic chorus which somehow A7X pulls it all together. LOVE IT. |

I LOVE this song and band. This is an amazing single that can really boost Gaslight into mainstream popularity. The lyrics are deep and it has an amazing upbeat rock n'roll energy to it...I dub it the Gaslight sound! This song speaks to me on so many levels especially with the past relationships and breakups that I've been through and learning to let go of ex's or girls that messed with my heart/emotions. |
