I thought he was singing 'without love believe these words I say' which I took to mean: your concept of love is tainted; you'd best get on with killing yourself, buddy. Killing yourself = executing your implanted beast666 mind virus, swapping it for the Christ one, which all your 'common sense,' and your 'friends' (the people you make dates with to go out and fuck your minds up even worse.) all that stuff you 'know' because you saw it on TV! 'Dead Again' is rewording/redefining/he's trying to make Christianity pallettable to those so consumed by their own confused, media-driven concepts of what Christianity has been characterized as. 'born again' I take "I can't believe I died last night, oh God I'm dead again" to mean that he can't believe how easy it is to pull the wool over someone's eyes. Myself, having achieved 'dead again' status less than a week ago, now: There is an incredible desire to 'be' a role model, for your droogs. They will soon disappear, I'm likely to find out. I say it's programmed into us by way of TV, which has now become the advertisement 'respectable' people go to, for their feel-good fix. The empty feeling you get when you say something that yourself and the other guy knows is complete bullshit. But you were both taught: this is how respectable people act, just like neutered puppy-dogs. So then, if you come up with the answer to Why?, then you can address the problem: your 'natural' morals (the ones you learn from observing the people you grew up around, vs. the 'alien' culture destroyer, who's job it is to provide you with endless morality-eroding mind-torture devices. 'My soul is on fire' he keeps saying this, hoping you will accept his invitation, the ticket out. It just isn't what people are expecting. |

This is an updated version of 'Der Untermensch.' Same idea, of the sub-human social parasite (Gimme dat, infers an alien parasite) How the scum keeps building up in society, and people's (by & large) 'whatever is trendy now' moral code. He's trying to turn us listeners into conduits for positive, effective, fact-based (over the prevaling emotion-based) change. I mean by that, the 'bad guys' get society to accept detrimental changes to their environment, by appealling to your (missplaced) empathy, for a creature that would (without hesitation!) stab you in the back for your tennis shoes. The media has made dupes out of everyone, except the few who are to be labeled as 'insane.' Effectively nullifying our FACT-based arguments. |

What Peter was trying to accomplish with the music was for you, the listener, to become freed; from a self-imposed exile.
