I kinda see it as maybe he didn't get what he expected from a particular night, hence 'the moon has raped me' moon being night, rape meaning being screwed over. maybe there was a fight or something, and he threw the phone, and the night fucked him over b/c it was a waste b/c he didn't get something.
i doubt that's what it is though. i'm always wrong on these things. |

This song is so sexy...although the message being portrayed is the exact opposite. I had downloaded the Deja Entendu cd offline, and unfortunately I didn't realize until I went to listen to it today that I had not downloaded the right song. (I had accidentally downloaded another 'Jaws Theme Swimming') So I downloaded this one, and it blew me away. It's a total change in style. It really gives me the chills...it's an extremely deep song, and it's not about JUST love. In my opinion, it's about the severe loss-feeling that occurs when you lose your virginity, or really anything that precious to you. Basically, you know it's wrong and you do it anyway. Even the music says "Danger, don't do it!" I don't know. Jesse Lacey and everyone else in that band are complete freaking geniuses.

aside from the fact that brandon boyd is the most gorgeous man on earth, hotter than anyone else, it's not what incubus is. some people (coughposers) act like they're so interested in this type of music, but they really only like to stare at the lead singer or guitar player. that's not what music is about! (well to me.) i enjoy sitting in my room with any of my incubus cds and just letting the music sink into my body. i know that sounds totally weird, but it just has a much deeper meaning to me than how cute the singer is. lol, it was an innocent remark, although superficial... so ... ok, ive lost my train of thought. beautiful song, wonderful lyrics, awesome sound... i love it, i love incubus!!!!!!!!!!! |

I thought it was "Thumbing through the pages of my fantasies" ? I don't know if 'come and fill the pages' makes much sense. in a way it does, but in a way it doesnt and 'thumbing through' etc makes more sense. oh well... i thoroughly enjoy this song, especially the video. this dude takes shit off of ANYBODY in the end! i dont think some people should be treated badly in school or anywhere else, thats why if i see someone alone or being mistreated i go talk to them, to prevent them from going psycho, poppin off, shooting nuns and stabbing puppies or something... but its a great song. |

i hate Ja Rule. I think when he was a teenager he did some major drugs, then quit for awhile cause it messed up paying for child support, so then he started to just smoke and that gave him some bad emphysema, so thats probably why his voice sounds like some old dog growling and wheezing. He's not hot, at all. Even if I was interested in that type of music and stuff like that, I still think he's a short, bald, tatted up guy with lips too big for his face. Oh, and it's spelled "murder" and why would there be a Murder Incorporated? I also think it's kinda STUPID that the fact that on some of these rap songs they are allowed to have the word 'ass' broadcasted around the radio but on a rock song (yeah like they play rock anymore, or punk or ska for that matter, or even metal really), they bleep it out... this song is awesome... i bought the CD the day it first came out... i've listened to it so many times, its been through 4 of my cd players... well maybe that means that i'm not too good with cd players, but i absolutely LOVE blink 182... for years they've been my favorite band EVER!
