| I generally agree with whats been written but think that overall this song is about a starlet who wants to be a "real" star but can't get a break, so she does a porno movie. The narrator, doesn't know her as such but has got her "pin up" promo photo as he's into porn movies and is saying that by doing porn movies everyone is going to love her, but in fact it will all come back to her in the end and will destroy her shot at a real career. Its a cynical look at what happens to lots of young women who go to Hollywood to try and get fame and fortune but can only get a break in the porno industry. | |

I agree with magicstephanie, the slightly childish lyrics and references to "Snake Mary" make me think this is written from the perspective of a college kid trying to get it on with his girlfriend in his hostel room, while the night supervisor sleeps. I also think he has scored some cocaine and is wanting her to do a line with him i.e. "chase it where it goes", and the reference to "what I've found"...so what did he find?...a little coke methinks. |
