Really?? Nobody has a meaning on Elephant Riders? This is actually the song that I was listening to that I was curious as to the meaning so I looked up this site...got an account and, well, here we are. If I had to say what Elephant Riders is about it would be a reference to our GOP and the Liberals. The mascot for the GOP is the elephant and the donkey is the Democrat mascot...I am thinking that the "pony" may be the ass. Obviously there is a theme of law that governs our existence. The Elephant Rider is going to DC to pen or protest a bill. Antietam was a bloody battlefield during the Civil War, so you can pick up what he is saying, or what he feels is eminent. I wonder, who is the "father" maybe somebody can help me out with that???? I really dig the way that he made the line work "On the way to Washington where work is done by men with gavels" it sounds really bad ass, and puts a cool picture in my mind. Great use of language! |

| I never thought about it like that...wow witches huh? I thought that basically they were just nymphs in a never never land! I kinda like that better though, sounds more fun. I wonder who Sheriff Jackson is supposed to be? I really love this site, this is my first time here. I will like the rest of the Clutch one's. They are hard but have deep meaning. Tough Dude Hymns is what I call some of their songs like Regulator, Ghost etc. I wonder if Cypress Grove is supposed to be a physical place or the Never Never Land I was referring to? | |
