A truly timeless piece I never tire of. I think it can be taken with a double meaning, as a love song between two people, as well as religious. I loved it then, and I still love it now. It's perfect and has a great tune! Of course the Lyrics are good too. I dislike the "ohh baby bayby yeah baby ohhh yeahh yeah whoo baby" crap that's being put out these days!

Mr. Mister – Broken Wings Lyrics

Awesome, powerful song about a failing relationship, and the desire of one partner to try and save it by professing how strongly he feels about her, and hoping they can commit to fix the mistakes made that night. Not sure if he is admitting to having broken her wings, and now encourages her, that he will give her the freedom to fly and live her life instead of being stifled. I just love this song.

No comments?!! Wow! I love this song, it's a nice sample of Rob's vocals, emphasized by sleazy guitarr solos. It's got a nice beat, and the lyrics are uplifting, if not a little rebellious and defiant. Sometimes this is just what we need to get through the day/life. The easy rhythm of the song lends one to overlook the meaning of the lyrics. Anyway, Priest has always been underrated!

I feel this is an angry struggle against religious views of homosexuality. I believe those laser eyes and the pneumatic fingers which nearly had him in their vice, was about the urging of religion telling him that he can't give in to his sexual tendencies, and the fear of going to hell if he did being imprinted on his mind, and him struggling against that. Saying "you can't break me...." What my personal views of this are isn't revelant, so lets not get into any of that.

Well there os another band that also covers this song, which no one has mentioned yet. Mötley Crüe has a nice rendition of this song. I bet I will never like any rendition better than that of Mötley Crüe. I love U2 very much, but after the Joshua Tree they became too weird for me with their musical style.

White Zombie – Black Sunshine Lyrics

I personally think this song is about suicide, after a hostile relationship ends. Someone is taking (or thinking about taking) a last ride in a mustand driving it off a cliff into the water below. Anyway, that's just what I get out of the lyrics and the mood of the music itself. I'd love to know what the real meaning was to be according to the writer of the lyrics and music, if any meaning was intended.
