One of the best interpretations of the song I've seen so far. I think the background singing might be him being frustrated by the constant confusion of being in love with a girl who is emotionally detached and not knowing why. |

I think its about him missing opportunities and regretting choices he should have made. It may or may not be referring to a recent break up. Its actually kinda sad if you think about it. At the end he just wants to go home. Not sure what the "singing" part means. Its definitively very upbeat as far as rhythm and notes go. My personal fav out of Coldplay. |
