This song is truly my favorite song on the Hunger Games Soundtrack. It truly fits in with what movie is trying to show. The song could be about Katniss ans Peeta, or Katniss and Rue. Why Katniss and Rue? "..but there comes you to keep me safe from harm. There come you to take me in your arms." "..just the same old dainty face" -Perhaps Rue is speaking to Katniss about how she is scared, not recognizing anyone in the game, but she recognizes her face, realizing Katniss sacrificed herself to save her sister. and for that Rue feels she can trust her? Peeta and Katniss? "..take my hand and my heart races. The flames illuminate our faces and we're on fire. Blow a kiss to the crowd. They're our only hope now" When they make their grand entrance through the crowd, they are onvviously on fire and...yeah-_- I don't want to spoil it any more than I already have. But yes, this is my interpretation. |
