is there a chance it is not about drugs? sure, many of the lyrics could be interpreted that way. but think of race. 'drop into fruitless dying' could be refering to racial integration in that we have reccessive traits... hence fruitless dying...'the whoring angel rising' may be refering to how it has become popular for beautiful young women to act like sluts... the line 'now bilingual' refering to the inter-mixture of all the races in Amerika. |
