This has long been confirmed by Walter Becker as being about the Nazi SS. Think about it...in pre-war Germany, if you were SS, you were on top of the world: the best trained, the best equipped, all fine physical specimens, intelligent, women dying to have sex with you to produce more 6' tall, blue-eyed Aryans. It probable DID 'feel so goooooood'! 30-40 years later, if you had been SS, you would not want to 'stir the midnight air', for fear of exposure...and there were eyes and mouths everywhere, many not just searching but desperately searching for former SS. |
