I'm only posting this for yaoifanLee. The Bible does explicitly state that homosexuality is a sin. I post this simply to clarify that this isn't someones opinion. It is very clear. "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination." Lev 18:22 Now, this in no way justifies any hateful action towards homosexual people. They're people just like you and I, and deserve to be treated as such. We as Christians are taught that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." There is no hierarchy of sins. All sins are equally detrimental to us, in a spiritual sense. Sin doesn't function like crime, where there are varying levels of bad-ness or wrong-ness. |
