ok so after years of listening to this song i find myself listening to it again a lot, i'm in the process of doing a vocal cover of it so i had to really study the lyrics and i've seriously replayed it over and over, there are some parts that are really difficult to understand, but this is what i've come up with. "that" is not even spoken in that last verse of the spoken word. i think the full part is: ----- "?there's me? ... it must've hurt more 'cause you're gone" ----- so those lyrics are like 98% right. except for the two parts in which i highlight with asterisks ** and brackets [[ ]]. i'm seriously going to get ahold of the vocalist and ask them. i remember going to their shows back in '06 and '08 and this song was the best. especially LIVE... gave me chills every time. so much emotion. there hasn't been a comment on this song in a year... next to civeta dei, this is their second masterpiece. |
