My interpretation is that the subject has made some mistakes and is coming to terms with this. 'I must disengage the imperfection and begin again' He wants to make a new start in the 'architects reflection'. ie 'god' or some other father figure. The cleanly sung part also reiterates the above, the subject got so carried away making wrong decisions that he is now looking back at what he has become. Epic vocals, epic guitars all round, epic drums = epic masterpiece! |

My interpretation is that the subject is on the verge of death and has finally come to terms with his 'demons.' It seems to me that despite his '...fear is taking over' he has resigned and is at peace. Let the end be the end. But hey, what do I know? I do know however that this is one EPIC song! |

My guess from the lyrics is that he wishes he was someone else, someone better, even for a moment... pretty self explanatory I do however completely agree with Edboy, exceptional songwriting, and vocals. |
