Touché Amoré – History Reshits Itself Lyrics 12 years ago
"The song that [Geoff Rickly] sings on, History Reshits Itself, it was about California and gay marriage, and things like that. He was actually the first person who told me when the law ended up not getting passed, so I know he had a lot of strong feelings about it too."-Jeremy Bolm

Braid – The New Nathan Detroits Lyrics 13 years ago
It's about touring. This is from the book Post:

“We were tired of losing friends because we weren’t at home to defend ourselves from the people that would eventually start making up stories about us, or that were just plain jealous of our popularity in the small college town of Champaign-Urbana,” Broach says.
An obvious question was, what was the point of working so hard with very little or no reward? “We made a joke one night somewhere that it was pointless to play if we didn’t get paid–because we were all starving musicians you see–and that line made it into the lyrics for this song,” Broach says of a lyric found in “The New Nathan Detroits.”
