The religious viewpoint changes the meaning however. In this song if the meaning is forgiveness it does matter who your receiving forgiveness from. I don't want to receive forgiveness from the God of islam because they make Jesus into a prophet when thats not possible. Jesus claimed so often about being the Son of God. So he either was or he wasn't, nothing in between. So even if you are an Atheist you gotta look at it from the song writers perspective. Who's perspective is changed by God. |

Ecclesiastes 3:11 b (b stands for the second half of a verse) :"he (God) has also placed eternity in our hearts." meaning we will always yearn, long for something more than this earth. just thought that went along with this song whether they're christian or non christian i hope they understand that life is random gods made a time for everything half of the things we do our just to keep us occupied. and in reference to "well still be slaves to love that's wrong you always have the choice satan was once an angel he chose to leave im sure we can do the same except well most likely wont want to which is good well the point is if god wanted to take away our free will he could but doesnt he lets us chose, we always have the choice. |

its about our sin in general doesn't have to be directly related to masturbation, porn, sex, ...etc but it is however what i struggle with the end seems to be about us being gods bride but its not quite worded that way; so maybe it could be him apologizing to his wife but that would seem quite random to me does he even have a wife? or maybe he was looking at it like gods husband but that's not the metaphor the metaphor is basically like gods trying to win us over like a husband would win his wife and by the way its not Christians who are gods bride he trying to win us all over everyday every second of our life oh and PS: i don't agree with confession that priest doesn't have a special connection with god that you don't. its good to tell some one something you have done wrong but not just someone of the street someone that close to you so tell god and someone you love that's very close to you. |
