| Marilyn Manson – Running To The Edge Of the World Lyrics | 13 years ago |

After seenig what Born Villain stands for, I think much of Marilyn's deppresion wasn't just due to his girls, but to the fans, just like FuckUserNames right here, saying that Marilyn Manson must be a brutal industrial metal band just burning Bibles and all that shit. Manson said that he got confused back in the times of Columbine murders because he was blamed for something he did not do, and that he was critisised for making harsh music because it was to harsh, but when he did less hevy songs he was critisised because his songs were not heavy enough :-/ Born Villain era is favolous not just due to the songs or the fact that Marilyn us wearing the Pope outfit once again, but for the meaning this tour has, a comeback of our hero, the Reverend of Fuck, Mr. Marilyn-motherfucking-Manson! |

I love this song but at the same time I fucking hate it, and also the video. Marilyn himself said actually this song was a joke to piss reporters off, but reading more interviews and actually watching him live on the Etc... Tour you can see that he was depressed, unmotivated, he was very anoyed and sad and depresed for being blamed for that Columbine shit, and he felt that his fans hated him because he didn't stick to the Industrial Metal and Antichrist shit. I'm not saying I didn't like the ACSS era, I loved all eras, except for the THEOL one. If you watch carefully the video for this song, you can see Marilyn saying that he cares a little less than shit about his fans because they hate him; he will make songs to gain money. And after that a lot of girls dressed as he did on TGAOG era with mickey mouse ears starts to hit him with posters and shouting at him. Really, they sucked on the Etc... Tour. Marilyn drunked, no effects, a lot of people were on the stage with MM for some reason on every video, and sometimes he had to had oxigen. But this MM is not with us anymore; read interviews about BV and hear the lyrics, specially the ones of The Flowers Of Evil and you can say. They rock the fuck out live again!! No effects, but that's great, he can speak with his fans. On the GGG WT he just said something like 'next song is for every priest that said you were going to hell' before The Fight Song. |

I didn't understand why were you saying that the 'beep beep beep' is censorship, beacause I believed you were refering to the first line xD In the song I have the line 'let's shoot up the mall, the school, or the president of whatever, or whoever wants to fight' is not censored. I agree with most of your interpretations. Actually THEOF is a sad album, even in Manson words. |

| Marilyn Manson – Born Villain [Album Version] Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| I just don't get what 'Im born villain, don't pretend to be a victim' means. He said in an interview that no one is actually born a villain, that you become what you are. | |
| Marilyn Manson – Murderers Are Getting Prettier Every Day Lyrics | 13 years ago |

This proves that his BV album has nothing to do with a girl: [VF Daily] How did you come to record a cover of “You’re So Vain” with Johnny Depp? [Manson] Because [of] where he’s at in his life. This record isn’t about anybody. The previous ones might have been perceived as being about this girl or that girl–and that’s what art was never supposed to be about. When I listen to my favorite songs, Bowie and the Beatles, I don’t think about who the fuck they were with when they wrote ’em. I just think about how it makes me feel. |

| Marilyn went to a Catholic school; he studied the Bible; he undestands what the Bible sais. That's why he is an atheist. | |

| Marilyn Manson – SLO-MO-TION Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
F*ck, I was about to post this song myself 'cause I wrote Slo-Mo-Tion and you did it in capitals xD I have some corrections: Were you wrote: "Don’t we wish that we had something more than hate amber panic and panic morbid panic hate and morbid panic" It's actually: "Don't we wish that we could fell something more than hate and morbid panic? Morbid panic!? Hate and morbird panic!?" After the "but somehow you find me… incredibly charming" It's: "[Twiggy'solo (incredibly charming; incredibly charming)] SLO-MO-TION (incredibly charming) SLO-MO-TION (incredibly charming) This is my beatiful show And everything is shot In slo-motion" Here and in MM.com the song's got a lot more lyrics wroten down than the ones the song actually has. Were did they get them, I dunno xD But I agree with TryingToBeHuman with that interpretation. ZimZum. |

| Marilyn Manson – No Reflection Lyrics | 13 years ago |

It might be, I actually didn't know that. Maybe the Marilyn without makeup in the video is representing the odl Masnon; if you watch carefully you can see that one of this girls is prectically making him kill the other girls, and after that she driks that wine herself. The 'heavy' Marilyn tries to save her but as he cannot he drowns her on a, i dunno, toilet? It's actually very difficult for me to understand it correctly as I didn't follow Marilyn's The High End Of Low era, and I neither read the Born Villain book. I can't stop listening to this song haha :P |

| Marilyn Manson – Overneath The Path Of Misery Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
I actualy can't figure any meaning for this lyrics :S The onely thing I get is that in the Born Villain trailer, the guy Marilyn is fighting with is his grandfather, the one that he says was a perverted, and after he say "the wages of sin is death" he kills him with a gun with a crucifix on it. I had to watch the video lots of times to realize that guy was his grandfather xD ZimZum. |

I have just realiced, that in the video there are two Marilyns, one is the 'normal' person, without makeup, sitting with the girls, and after he sings "I don't know which me that I love got no reflection" and the girls drink the wine, the fire apears and the table starts to elevate, then the alter ego apears and kills all the girls. Haha, interesting. ZimZum |

I must say that this song is just fucking awsome xD I liked delyla_blue's interpretation. What I think this song mean is that, Marilyn either is taking about an unknown (for us) alter ego that takes his place and commits violent acts and has "no reflection", no regret after that (that's why he sais "I don't know *which me that I love* got no reflection") but I don't think so, or is taking about himself being with lots of girls and the breaking their hearts. "Is this constricting construction, Or just streets with rusty signs, Of something violent coming?" may mean he's saying he sees that he is gonna do something wrong, maybe, being with a girl and breaking her heart after getting what he wanted from her. "I don't know which me that I love got no reflection." may mean he doesn't know why he does this he is doing, and he wish to be another person, or just having "no reflection", no regretting what he did. But, ok, this is my simple interpretation after seeing the song's video, where he is in a table with lots of girls, maybe having dinner, and after he sings "I don't know which me that I love got no rflection" this girls drink the wine he gaves them and after a while they all die, Marilyn drowns one of the girls, etc. and sings "I've got no reflection". But the thing I liked the most was him playing the guittar on the video :D ZimZum |
