| The total feeling I'm getting from this song is that she is using rain as a metaphor for not only touch but for being "showered with affection," which by the sounds of it, she isn't getting her rain. This song seems to mean that she is in a relationship where she feels neglected and is tired of spending all her energy giving her affection where she is not getting any in return. At the end of the song she makes it clear that she no longer gave the person affection and most likely left them. This song is emotionally intense and one of my favorites. :) <3 | |
