| I personally have always thought it was about suicide. I thought that Johnny was bullied to the point of suicide. The reason they can't forget his face is because they never did anything, never spoke up to help him. The reason Katie won't speak his name is because she knows the things she said to or about him. Ed Sheeran put this on his twitter... "I never said what the song was about, ever, someone just one day made up it was about suicide, which it's not... it's just a plain straight up love song, nothing more, nothing less" I personally see the song as some type of forbidden romance sort of deal... I don't know, that's what I always pictured before I heard the suicide rumor. Even though he stated it's not about suicide, I can still see it that way. |
