| Black Sabbath – Hole In The Sky Lyrics

"i'm living easy where the sun doesn't shine"
at the beginning of the song, i think he means that because of religion etc is minds messed up and his head's up his ass.
but, the rest of the song seems like it's about him being apart from the world and looking back at it and how foolish things can be. i guess it's kind of lonely. he's traded paying the rent for a hope of finding heaven on mars or in space.
a room without a view may not be cluttered with a bunch of false views but it would be boring. |

| Black Sabbath – Electric Funeral Lyrics

i suppose very literally an electric funeral would be a funeral for the electronics, digital stuff etc. it makes sense seeing that the rest of the lyrics are about the world falling apart or things changing to their opposites. |

it's about wanting to die after having lost someone you love. "in heaven above" line and at the end "down, down, under the water" when he wants to solve the mystery |

hmmm... possibly. she (kim) would be walking the female dog (Paul) into a shady area. Paul has very white teeth and literally would be having/playing with a ball. very interesting. i like this song a lot more now. |

it's like buzz osbourne of the melvins says about the rolling stones, "it's better not to know what he's saying." this is my favorite pixies song and i have never read the lyrics before now. I think the song probably makes less to sense to me having read them. ROCK! |

| U2 – Where The Streets Have No Name Lyrics

i find it interesting that in this song track one he's filled with energy with his running to where the streets have no name. then, in track two he's more somber and reflects that he still hasn't found what he's looking for. |
